The seven bedrooms evoke simple luxury with large beds, hand-carved rocking chair with a soft woollen blanket for the chilly winter evenings, and picture-perfect views out to the garden and mountains beyond. There are plenty of thoughtful touches such as the bowls of roses placed around the house.
Meals are taken in the finca’s living and dining area, a welcoming, intimate space of deep white sofas, hide-strapped chairs, and carefully placed gaucho artefacts. Candlelit at night and open-fired in winter, this is sophisticated country eating at its best. Drinks are served at the table, in front of the fire, or out on the veranda as you count the stars.
During your stay, you can go out riding, take some cookery classes to learn how to make regional specialities, do a little bird watching, or simply laze around with a good book.
