White Desert Echo Camp

Just a 5-hour private flight from the stunning coastal city of Cape Town, touch down on the ancient ice of Antarctica for an unforgettable adventure on the white continent. Brand new in 2022, Echo Camp blends retro style with futuristic details comparable to the International Space Station – the camp’s closest neighbour, orbiting over 400km overhead. Each domed pod is crafted from composite fibreglass, complete with ultra-modern materials and floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a deep sense of connection to the wild landscape outside. The 20ft bedroom includes a cosy lounge area and an adjoining private washroom and toilet. As with all White Desert’s camps, Echo is designed to be dismantled, leaving no trace on the Antarctic landscape.
