My love of Asia began on a family holiday to China, Hong Kong and Thailand when I was a child and wow did it leave an impression on me! I was instantly captivated by the variety of cultures, incredible landscapes, rich history and of course the food.
Since then, I have taken every opportunity to travel extensively across the continent. One of my favourite places has to be Sri Lanka with its wild beaches, breathtaking hikes, and warm, welcoming people. I also love the vibrant cities in Vietnam and finding a local cafe to enjoy a Bánh mì and watch the world go by. Indonesia continues to amaze me which each visit, and I highly recommend a stay on the beautiful and unique island of Sumba.

What's the most exciting wildlife sighting you’ve ever encountered?
I was lucky enough to enjoy a rare sighting of dugong with young calf when snorkelling in Komodo! I was also in awe of the orangutans in Borneo - magnificent!

What is the best piece of travel advice you've ever received?
Chat to the locals! Some of my most memorable experiences and stories are from conversations with local people and of course guides!

What do you still have to cross off your travel bucket list?
I have yet to visit India and would absolutely love to have the chance to see tigers in the wild.
