Each of the horse-shoe shaped tents is vast and luxurious in its design, with a large deck to the front with private plunge pool, lounge area, indoor and outdoor bathroom and bedroom area. There has been excellent attention to detail, ensuring there is everything you need here to have a relaxing and comfortable stay.
The camp is split into two, the main camp, and Little Anabezi, which can be taken over exclusively for a family or small group. There are separate lounge areas, fire pits and swimming pools, as well as separate entrances to the two sides of Anabezi, giving guests the feel of an even smaller camp.
During your stay at Anabezi there are plenty of excursions, adventures and sights to behold to keep you occupied when you're not relaxing by the pool or enjoying the camp amenities.
The lodge is well equipped with new game viewing vehicles and the guides are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Activities here include day and night game drives – with comfortable adapted safari vehicles to ensure you always have a window seat! The night drives are exciting, using a spotlight to find the nocturnal animals such as lion, leopard and hyena, and the lesser-seen wildlife such as genet, civet, mongooses and even aardvark. Also on offer are walking safaris into the Kulefu woodlands and surrounding areas, escorted by an armed scout and your guide. Canoeing safaris along the Zambezi River, birdwatching - approximately 500 species of birds in the Lower Zambezi - and boating and fishing are also available for those who wish to try their hand - on a catch and release basis.
