Perched high on a bluff with sweeping ocean and mountain views, Domaine Madeline is the ideal base for visiting Olympic National Park. The property has a deeply tranquil vibe with Asian accents, nature-inspired hues, stunning woodland, and waterfall gardens, along with five individually decorated suites and two cottages within the grounds. The staff are warm and obliging and are more than willing and able to help guests with advice and tips for enjoying the area and its activities. Guests are welcome to relax in the property’s lounge which features a huge fireplace, Asian antiques, and a harpsichord.
All the accommodation includes huge comfortable beds, seating area, a private deck, and ensuite spa-inspired bathroom. Amenities include high speed Wi-Fi, climate control, Chromecast TV, Bluetooth speaker, in-room Keurig coffee maker, compact fridge, microwave oven and ensuite bathroom with plush towels, and robes.
Suites are in the main house. The most spacious suites, Hurricane Ridge, and Hoh Rainforest, feature a wood-burning fireplace, dining area, walk-in shower, and large jetted bathtub, sleeping up to four. The two smaller suites, Lake Crescent, and Elwha River, sleep two. Alternatively, couples seeking more privacy can book one of three standalone cottages within the grounds, which all sleep up to two guests. Children over 10 years old are welcome.
The lavish breakfasts are delivered to the room fridge the day before, so whether guests wish to make an early start or enjoy a lazy morning, there is flexibility. The breakfasts come boxed so are also designed for picnicking or eating on the move and there is a choice of four options. Guests can also order from a snack menu which includes wine, chocolate, sweet treats, charcuterie, cheese, and fruit.
The gardens are a feature of the property and there is a bike rental service. For additional pampering, massage services can also be arranged. There is an onsite Electric Vehicle charging station if required.
