Tarangire National Park

Attracted by the waters of the Tarangire River, herds of wildebeest, lion, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and impala visit the Tarangire National Park in the dry season of July to October. Terracotta-hued termite mounds stud the landscape, its fertile foliage a rich blend of every green tone imaginable. Vast herds of elephant stroll the savannah, congregating at the water’s edge in their hundreds.

Exceptional viewing possibilities are provided by the chance to take both day and night safaris, while taking to the skies in a hot air balloon offers the exceptional privilege of a birds eye view over the bush.
