From the cloud forests of northern Peru, where the Chachapoya once hid their dead in cliffside sarcophagi, across the desert coast at Paracas, to the glacier tongues of Torres del Paine, each landing feels like arriving somewhere entirely new. To the Edge of the Known World
Travel to the White Desert camp for the season's earliest weeks, when the first emperor chicks find their feet on the ice at Atka Bay, home to more than six thousand breeding pairs. Days move between ice climbing, glacier treks, and descents into blue tunnels lit from within, before returning each evening to a private corner of Antarctica, a camp of heated pods kept entirely for your group alone.
