Boracay is a small island at just 7km long and less than 1km wide at its narrowest point but it is the most developed island in the Philippines with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to keep you entertained. It is ideal for those who seek a bit of an atmosphere. However, if you are seeking a more tranquil location head to Panglao which still has some hustle and bustle but on a much smaller scale and you can easily escape the crowds.
