Perched on a private peninsula jutting into the shimmering depths of Lake Titicaca, Titilaka offers a rare blend of refined comfort, deep tranquillity and authentic Andean soul. Surrounded on three sides by water and shared only with the nearby Aymara community, the lodge occupies four acres of pristine grounds, with two private beaches, over-water decks, boardwalks and terraces that invite you to soak in each sunrise and sunset.
At Titilaka there are just 18 lake-facing suites, all thoughtfully appointed to reflect both elegance and place. Suites feature heated floors, sumptuous bedding, organic bathroom amenities, and large windows or bathtubs positioned to capture the ever-changing light over the lake — some facing dawn, others dusk, while corner rooms offer dual-aspect panoramas that stretch from sunrise to sunset.
The lodge’s communal spaces are designed for slow luxury and repose. Three lounges, a reading and media room, a boutique, and expansive terraces gather guests in spaces where the lake seems to merge with the sky. The restaurant and bar serve cuisine rooted in Andean tradition — fresh local ingredients, lake-harvested trout and regional flavours — all enjoyed with effortless lakeside calm.
Titilaka also offers a carefully curated programme of excursions and experiences: boat trips to reed-built floating islands, kayaking or sailing on the world’s highest navigable lake, cycling or hiking nearby trails, visits to indigenous communities, archaeological sites and wetlands teeming with birdlife. For moments of calm, there is a massage room and spa to ease muscles after high-altitude adventures.
