Galton House is a modern boutique guesthouse located in the Windhoek suburb of Eros, 10 minutes to the centre of town and about 30 minutes to the airport. Decorated with a minimalist style with flashes of bright colours, this is a great base for exploring Windhoek and the ideal spot to stay before or after your Namibian adventures.
There are just eight rooms, four doubles, two twin and two family rooms, all are en-suite, have internet connectivity, satellite television and air conditioning. The rooms are simple but comfortable in their design, with large wildlife photography prints and canvasses adorning the walls.
Galton House provides a laundry service, secure onsite parking for those self-driving around Namibia. There is an indoor and outdoor restaurant offering a set menu for dinner and a la carte options for lunch. Food here is superb, as the owner's wife operates a popular restaurant in the city, so expect to eat well here. There is also a large lounge with comfy sofas and an outdoor swimming pool with sunloungers. Staff here are welcoming and friendly, able to assist you in restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings and suggestions for shopping or sightseeing in the city.
