Sunyata Hotel Meili calls a picturesque address at the ruggedly postcard-perfect Wunongding Village home, with layers of snow-capped mountains and mighty rivers within easy reach from the hotel. There are only 22 households in the quaint village, which has remained untouched for centuries.

Beautifully restored from an ancient Tibetan house with gold curved arch, earthy materials, natural light and materials, Sunyata Hotel Meili evokes restrained elegance while following the Tibetan architectural principles at heart.

Each of the 19 rooms and suites are furnished with custom-made pieces from Ke Xie's Yiji Collection, as well as works from local artisans within an open-studio layout. Selection of multilingual books are available within each room, while an imposing mountain views greet you every morning with windows designed to maximize natural lighting.

Sunyata Hotel Meili has an in-house restaurant serving seasonal Yunnan cuisine, as well as a rooftop lounge Kawagebo with stunning view of the jagged mountains surrounding the property.
