Nepal

Whether you’re there to trek to Mount Everest, explore ancient cities or experience the incredible wildlife, Nepal’s mountain scenery is something you’ll never forget.

Nepal is a landlocked Himalayan Kingdom that shares borders with Tibet to the north and northwest, and India to the west, south and east. The greater part of the country lies on the southern slope of the Himalayas, extending down from the highest peaks through hill country to the upper edge of the Ganges Plain.

The hilly central area is crossed by the Lower Himalaya where the majestic Mount Everest can be found. The people are amongst the friendliest anywhere and the ancient cities of the Kathmandu valley - Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur - are medieval cultural gems.

A visit here should also include a trip to Chitwan National Park where you can spot sloths, elephants, tigers and rhinos. And for true exhilaration, the white-water rafting here is probably the best in the world.
