Vietnam

A diverse, fascinating country, Vietnam is full of things to see, from beautiful beaches to ancient cities. Vietnam shares borders to the north with China, to the west with Laos and Cambodia, and with the South China Sea to the east and south. It is a fascinating country steeped in history and culture, mostly derieved from its Socialistic and war-ridden past. With the Mekong Delta and stunning beaches to the south, and ancient cities and tribal culture to the north, Vietnam provides a wonderfully diverse landscape for all sorts of travelers. Scott Dunn’s highlights for Vietnam:

  • Whilst visiting the southern part of Vietnam and the stunning Mekong Delta, be sure to travel on the traditional local boats, a sampan. Small in size, they are prefect for reaching the more untouched areas of the river.
  • When exploring the Perfume River of Hue, take afternoon tea at La Residence Hotel, allowing you to take in the sights and sounds as you relax on the rivers banks.
  • Sail by private junk in Halong Bay, visit local fishing villages or unwinding with a gentle Tai Chi session on the boat deck.
