Description
Villa Las Palmeras is one of 3 properties on the Can Totxa private estate (Villa Can Toxta and Villa Josefa are the other 2). They are all built by the same architect, however have their own private access and spacious gardens. The use of local stone and materials has been incorporated throughout the design of Villa Las Palmeras, creating a traditional Mallorcan finca of the finest quality. This theme continues inside with the use of terracotta tiles and white-washed walls giving the feeling of tranquility. It is light, airy and has been sumptuously designed by an on-trend Madrid couple. It's very "farrow and ball" with a subtle, but effective colour pallet.
You drive to our villa via a private road and gain access through the villa's private, electric security gates, which make this villa feel very exclusive and secure.
The villa is surrounded by stunning, manicured gardens where there is lots of space on one level for the children to play in - all within eye shot of either yourselves or the nanny.
The interior of the house is very stylish and cool where neutral tones create a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
On the ground floor, there is an open plan living/dining area which leads out through French doors onto a shaded terrace with comfortable seating where you can enjoy a cool drink served by your host, overlooking the pool.
Leading from the living/dining room, there is a separate TV/playroom where your children will be well entertained by the nanny. Parents like the fact the playroom is on this level and that it leads directly onto the garden and terrace. There are a wide range of toys for indoor and outdoor play. There is also a spacious double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor.
Stone stairs lead up to the stunning master bedroom with a large double four-poster bed, stylish white rattan furniture and spacious en-suite bathroom. Doors lead out to its own terrace, with fantastic views over the pool, gardens and the surrounding countryside.
There are a further two twin bedrooms on the first floor, both of which have en-suite bathrooms.
There are ample terraces, both open and covered, to enjoy the wonderful outdoors with views of the surrounding mountains. The pool area is approximately 10 metres away from the house. This is surrounded by a beautiful decked area, with plenty of sun loungers and parasols to give you shade. There are 2 elegant, tall palm trees cleverly set within the pool decking area that gives the house its name.
As Villa Las Palmeras is located next to our other villas, Can Totxa and Josefa, it makes it an ideal choice for groups wanting to holiday together.
Accommodation
There are 4 delightful bedrooms at Las Palmeras. Each bedroom has been stylishly furnished in neutral colours. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor off an impressive double height galleried landing. The master bedroom is the most spacious and impressive of all the bedrooms and takes up the whole of one side of the first floor. The 2 twins on the first floor are adjacent and at the opposite end of the landing. The 4th bedroom is on the ground floor. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms ensuite.

Childcare
The villa is staffed with a fully qualified nanny who is there to take care of all your childcare needs. Our qualified nanny(ies) can look after children from four months to thirteen years keeping them entertained with a variety of fun activities tailor-made to their needs and routines. The dedicated playroom is full of toys, games, creative activities and a games console for all ages to ensure all children have an endless stream of fun on their holiday! Children are as well catered for as adults and your chef will cook delicious meals that cater for all tastes and allergies.
Our villas are equipped with a family in mind with stair-gates, blackout blinds, baby equipment and cots as standard. You can also request nappies and wipes to be purchased in advance so that you have one less thing to worry about. Babysitting can also be arranged if you would like to go out for supper.

Villa has a swimming pool and outdoor dining area to enjoy the surrounding countryside.
The sitting area has satellite TV and DVD player. Wi-fi and air-conditioning is available.

Activities
Puerto Pollenca has an excellent beach, yacht club and marina, and an attractive main square and promenades.
It is also one of the island’s best locations for enjoying water-based sports: Sailing, dinghy sailing, kite surfing ,windsurfing, diving and sea kayaking are all available to those looking for something to do whilst on holiday.
Alternatively if you enjoy the sea you can rent a boat and take a picnic to one of the many coves in the bay.
A host of other activities are also available including bicycle hire, horse riding and trekking.
It is also possible to play a round of golf at one of the many courses on the island or a game of tennis.

Our team pride themselves on their ability to ensure that every aspect of the service is seamless and to anticipate your every need. Your private chef will serve mouthwatering dishes from a menu tailored to your tastes. Your hosts will manage every aspect of your holiday, from restaurant bookings to keeping your glass topped up with wine or that perfectly mixed gin & tonic.

Additional nanny upon request (from £405 per week for 1 child) - subject to availability, laundry facilities - EUR7 per wash. Tenancy times: Check in 4pm. Check out 11am.

Las Palmeras Villa is situated in the Can Totxa Estate in the north-east of the island, approximately 5 minutes by car from the great restaurants of Pollenca town and 10 minutes from Puerto Pollenca with its beach and marina. It has beautiful countryside surroundings with fantastic views of the mountains.
How to get there
There are regular international flights to Palma. It is then a 60 minute drive to the villa.
