Laos

Laos is a hugely popular destination for hikers, as well as those wishing to relax on the impressive Mekong River boats. The few inhabitants have learnt to live with the landscape around them, using the dry season to temporarily plant crops in the lowered banks of the river.

  • Discover the more relaxed and quiet riverside city of Vientiane in Laos, full of French colonial architecture, and be sure to watch the sunset over the Mekong River.
