When to travel
Crete enjoys a mild and sunny climate with four distinct seasons. During the summer months (June, July, August), temperatures should be expected to reach 35°C. The spring is wonderful for its nature and flowers but the sea is still a little cold and you can have some rain. If you are not coming for the sea and sun and want to experience Crete without tourists, come in the winter, it will be a totally different experience.
