Description

Spread over four floors and some 500 square meters, Chalet Artemis is truly spacious and is without doubt the most sophisticated of all the chalets in St Anton and deserving of its Flagship title.

Chalet Artemis features six large en-suite bedrooms located on the ground and first floors, some with private balconies. Stylishly furnished, each room is fully wired for sound and vision with flat screen plasma TVs, top of the range Sonos sound systems and desk space for those wanting to use a laptop. The modern en-suite bathrooms feature bathtubs with REN skincare products.

Take the lift to the top floor, home to the open-plan living room and dining area which brings together old and new - Austrian sublime meets 21st century wine wall. A large balcony overlooks the village with a statue of Artemis herself keeping watch over the resort. Gorgeous designer sofas, stunning works of art, and an open log fire define the upstairs living area, which is the perfect place to relax with a glass of champagne before dinner. As part of the Flagship experience, enjoy exceptional gourmet fine dining on six evenings, served with fine wines chosen especially by our Master of Wines. Chalet Artemis also comes with a full drinks cabinet including award-winning Sipsmith gin and barley vodka, and single malt whisky with our compliments.

The wellness area on the lower ground floor is the last word in luxury and a fabulous highlight of the chalet. It features an 8m indoor swimming pool, wet room, sauna, steam room and an indoor/outdoor hot tub ideal for easing aching limbs after a day on the slopes. There is also a massage room where you can indulge in a full menu of treatments including massages or facials from our Scott Dunn beauty therapist.

Also on the lower ground floor is the private 12-seater cinema. Watch big sporting moments and feature films from the comfort of its retro red velvet chairs with some delicious popcorn.

During the day, the Scott Dunn driver service will whisk you to the slopes and back in style with our fleet of 4x4 vehicles.

Please note, all of our chalets are non-smoking inside.

Accommodation

The rooms are all impressively large and stylishly furnished with soft colour palettes and comfortable seating areas, some with small balconies or terraces. The chalet also has its own iPad for guests' use.

Childcare

Scott Dunn pioneered skiing holidays with childcare and this is an optional extra that many families consider indispensable. We offer childcare from 4 months and ensure that children have the most fantastic holidays and that parents can completely relax with peace of mind that their family is in great hands. Your children can be taken to and collected from ski lessons and will be kept entertained with a varied and imaginative activity programme and given healthy home made lunches and snacks.

Our childcare staff are qualified professionals and guests at Artemis can opt to have a private nanny service . Babysitting is available too. For guests booking our childcare, there's a wide range of equipment available for babies and toddlers.

Facilities

The lower ground floor of the Chalet Artemis features a spectacular wellness area. It consists of a wet room, sauna, steam room, massage room, indoor swimming pool, an indoor/outdoor hot tub and two rattan sofas to relax on. Next door, film lovers can sit back in the 12-seater private cinema, which has a DVD Collection, satellite channels and the latest games consoles and wide selection of games. Also on this floor is a ski and boot room with heated boot warmers.

Activities

St Anton is just one part of the awesome Arlberg. The excellent snow record combined with such an extensive area means it should be high on the list for any good skier. The backcountry potential is such that a guide is essential if you wish to do more than scratch the surface. While the terrain can be challenging for those with only a few weeks’ experience, the Rendl area offers some easier runs and plenty of sun.

Aside from the skiing, St Anton exudes character and charm and the Tyrolean hospitality is not to be missed. The village itself is what Alpine villages should be like and there is a wealth of good restaurants shops. St Anton is famous for après ski and the Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh are world-renowned.

The wellness centre, the Well.com is highly acclaimed and there is masses more to do, including walking, rock climbing, ice skating, sleigh riding, curling, tennis squash and plenty more.

Services

Chalet Artemis is complemented by our Flagship service. Our team pride themselves on their ability to ensure that every aspect of the service is seamless and to anticipate your every need. Your private chef will serve mouthwatering dishes from a menu tailored to your tastes. Your hosts will manage every aspect of your holiday, from restaurant bookings to ensuring a smart 4x4 vehicle is ready to take you skiing and keeping your glass topped up with a carefully chosen wine or perfectly mixed gin & tonic.

A la carte breakfast is served daily, gourmet dinners are offered on six nights and wine, Champagne and spirits are included. Our driver service is on hand with a fleet of 4x4s to whisk you around the resort.

Above all though, our Flagship service is personal and we will endeavour to make your stay your perfect holiday.

When to travel

St Anton has an enviable reputation for its snow. The Eastern Alps frequently benefit from early snow and the largely pastoral terrain does not need a hugely deep base to offer great skiing conditions. As a result, St Anton frequently offers some of the best skiing in the Alps in December and January. The microclimate means that snowfalls are more prolific than in many other resorts and with plenty of skiing above 2000 metres, conditions can be great right up until late April.
