Description

Arrive into the North Island of New Zealand and head straight to Treetops, a stunning Lodge set amidst 2,500 acres of secluded native forest and game reserve. Treetops Lodge offers the ultimate in luxury accommodation and is located just outside the geothermal wonderland of Rotorua. Go fishing in one of seven trout streams or their four lakes, explore the forest with over 70 kilometers of hiking trails, or follow their experienced horse master on ancient trails with a horse ride through the bush.

After this uniquely New Zealand experience, fly down to the South Island and stay in a luxury tree house at Hapuku Lodge, with a stunning backdrop of mountains and views over the ocean. This is a great place for whale watching, swimming with dolphins and seals and for amazing walks. As with all of these lodges, the food and service is second to none.

Queenstown is further south still and a place where you can take part in a huge array of outdoor activities. Take a helicopter trip to the nearby Sounds or glaciers, go jet boating or just take in the stunning alpine scenery. The Spire hotel is a great base to do all this from, with stunningly appointed accommodation and a wonderfully central location.

Then you will fly to Australia to continue your adventures in a luxurious style. The three different destinations you will visit here give you a true taste of what this beautiful and amazing country has to offer.

Starting in Sydney, the Park Hyatt is THE place to stay. Located right on the water, you can arrive by boat from one of the most famous harbours in the world. Sydney is great for just walking around and soaking up the sights, culture and for eating at world class restaurants.

Take a direct flight up to Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays. Qualia is the new and exciting super luxurious boutique hotel located on a secluded part of the island. With Asian inspired décor and pavilions with private plunge pools overlooking the hundreds of beautiful islands and turquoise sea, this is a place to truly pamper yourself. Spa Qualia has a vast number of treatments, all using natural Australian products. The food and beverage experience is outstanding and from here you can snorkel, dive and be taken to stunning deserted beaches for the day.

For the final and most stunning experience of your holiday, fly to Darwin and be taken in your own light aircraft into the middle of the huge landscape of floodplains and national parks. In the middle of nowhere, you will land and be greeted by your hosts who will drive you to Bamurru Plains. This private ‘wild bush luxury’ experience is out of this world.

The camp consists of the main lodge with stunning furniture made out of local materials. The infinity pool sits out front overlooking the vast floodplains all the way to the sea. Sit in the pool sipping your champagne after a day’s safari and see wild horses, birds and kangaroos all around in their natural habitat. The individual rooms are superb safari tents on stilts, kitted out with an amazing rain shower and beautiful fittings. Although totally enclosed, you really feel like you are very close to all the amazing wildlife. Whilst here, take trips out on the airboats to spot crocodiles and buffalos or visit nearby Kakadu and see amazing aboriginal rock art.
