Description

Spend a few days exploring the fascinating sights of Istanbul, using the luxurious Four Seasons Sultanahmet, in the heart of the old city, as a base. We can arrange an excellent guide to talk you through the intricacies of the Yerebatan Saray, explain the fascinating history of the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace and take you to the best restaurants in the city to sample the delicious local food and drink Turkish coffee, away from any tourists.

From Istanbul, there is just a short flight across to Cappadocia. Stay in one of the luxurious cave hotels, take a hot air balloon flight at dawn to get the best view over the incredible glowing lunar landscape, and marvel at the beautiful frescoes of the 10th century churches built into the caves.

Then, another short flight takes you across to Izmir where hours can be spent exploring the ancient city of Ephesus. Either stay in a buzzing coastal town, or for the more adventurous, why not head up to the hills to in a very simple, rustic inn in a traditional Turkish village, surrounded by olive groves and beautiful hiking paths.

To end this fabulous trip, we will arrange a transfer to drive you three hours south of Ephesus to the Kempinski Barbaros Bay in Bodrum, where you can while away days swimming in the warm Mediterranean sea, relaxing in the spa or skim across the stunning bay on a windsurf.
