Description
You will begin your honeymoon in the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud, staying at the beautiful Chedi Club on the Tanah Gajah estate. Set only a short drive from the quaint streets of Ubud town, The Chedi Club is set amidst flat paddy fields with a tranquil atmosphere – the ideal place to relax and soak up some of Bali’s rich culture. Your Pool Villa is extremely private with beautiful views across the rice fields and is appointed in a traditional Balinese fashion whilst being furnished with all modern comforts. You will benefit from the fantastic Club services, including a well-stocked minibar, evening cocktails and private transfers into Ubud as well as the services of a 24-hour Butler. Should you be lured away from your pool villa, explore the bustling streets of Ubud, where artisan shops and galleries rub shoulders with colourful markets and ornate temples.
From the lush and verdant heart of the island, travel down to the coast where you will stay at the impossibly stylish and romantic Balé, set in the secluded enclave of Nusa Dua. This all-villa property is incredibly romantic and boasts the most superb walled villas with private pools. The interior is visually stunning, with a lofty roof, crisp white linens and an amazing bathroom with steps leading straight in to your pool. Your lawned garden area is perfect for whiling away sunny days with a good book and the property also houses an amazing spa if you feel like being pampered – just ask your dedicated personal butler to book a treatment for you. The restaurants at The Balé are superb and the property also has a wonderful, serviced beach club just moments away by buggy. Your stay at the Balé includes daily cocktails at the Fluid Bar and a choice between daily half board (either lunch or dinner) or a daily a one-hour spa treatment for two (choosing between a Balinese, Aromatherapy or Hot Stone massage).
This itinerary is perfect for those looking for an utterly luxurious, Balinese honeymoon, taking time to explore the rich and vibrant culture before relaxing in the most stunning surrounds at The Bale.

When to travel
Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – wet and dry – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer.
In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid, with relative humidity averaging 85% and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.
