Description

Enjoy one night in night Bangkok, the vibrant capital city staying at the elegant Four Seasons hotel in the heart of the city. Then fly up to Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle area. This is home to the unique Four Seasons Tented Camp, an impressive collection of some of the most luxurious tents in the world, with breathtaking views onto the borders with Laos and Myanmar. Included in your stay there are all meals and drinks, one spa treatment per person and a full program of activities such as a visit to the nearby countries by boat. However the highlight of your stay will be a full day’s training to be a Mahout with the camp’s elephants. You will learn how to control the elephants and ride them through the jungle and this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Drive through the beautiful Northern countryside to arrive at Chiang Mai, home to another stunning Four Seasons property. Located amongst working rice paddies and a short drive from the night markets of Chiang Mai, this is the perfect place to get a feel for rural Thailand. Spend your days visiting the local hill-tribes or taking part in a cooking class, learning how to cook mouth-watering Thai dishes at the hotel’s renowned cooking school.

Finally, fly down to the island of Koh Samui where you can relax at the fabulous Four Seasons hotel on the beach. All villas come with private pools and stunning views out to sea. If you can tear yourselves away from your villa, there is a lovely beach and main pool, gourmet restaurants and a lovely spa for pampering treatments. This is the perfect end to a fabulous holiday, where you will be able to relax in stunning surroundings whilst being pampered with excellent service.

Itinerary

When to travel

Visiting the north of Thailand and Koh Samui on the east coast is best from February to July. At this time of year the weather is driest and it is the best time to explore the cultural north and relax on the beautiful beach. The north of Thailand can also be visited from October but until February, we would recommend an alternative beach property on the west coast.
