Great care has been taken in the construction of Park Hyatt Hadahaa to preserve the natural vegetation in order to maintain the ambience of the island and minimise the environmental footprint of the resort. Environmental awareness and protection are key considerations in all our guest experiences. Park Hyatt Hadahaa is the first resort in the Maldives to adhere to the standards for Green Globe certification in the construction stage and resort operations.
The Park Villas provide a private island home for guests desiring true solitude and tranquillity. Nestled among the natural vegetation of the island, they create an intimate setting for relaxation. Each villa features a private deck, bedroom with living area and your own private garden with outdoor shower and bath. Perfect sound from home entertainment system will complete the experience. There is only a short sandy walk from each deck to the magical blue of the Indian Ocean.
The Park Pool Villa provides an additional level of lazing and pampering. Enjoying the privacy provided by the natural vegetation, guests will step down from their daybed into their own personal plunge pool adjacent to the outdoor deck.
And lastly the Park Water Villa is an ideal retreat from a chaotic world, where guests enjoy panoramic views of the ocean to the horizon and fall asleep to the sound of soft waves lapping below their villa. Each villa features the bedroom with living area, bathroom with oval shaped bath and a full size window opening to a view of the ocean, a private deck with daybed, sun lounges and access to the coral-filled waters.
Only a few steps away from the white beaches guests can discover a whole new world of snorkelling or scuba diving. The unspoilt and easily accessible coral reef is no more than 50 m from the shore, unveiling a mesmerising underwater world.
All guests are welcome to collect their snorkelling equipment from the water sports centre where the instructors will give snorkelling techniques and tips, conduct snorkelling lessons and provide guests with more information about the marine life.

When to travel
The Maldives has a tropical climate distinguished by two seasons, or monsoons: the dry northeast monsoon from December to March, and the wet southwestern monsoon from May to November, with more strong winds and rain. April is a transitional period noted for clear water and heat. The temperature remains remarkably consistent at around 30°C.
February to April is the hottest period and resorts are almost all operating at capacity during this period. Mid-December to early January comes at even more of a premium due to Christmas and New Year and prices are even higher. Easter and the Italian holiday week in August also attract peak prices at most resorts.
Storms are more likely from May to November, though it’s still warm, skies can be cloudy and the humidity is higher. This is the low season, with fewer people and lower prices, with the exception of August.
Diving is good year-round, although a basic rule is that life on the reef is more varied and visibility better on the western side of any atoll from May to November and from the eastern side of any atoll December to April.
The surfing season runs from March to October, which is when resorts are cheapest.
