Description

The Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay is a smart and sophisticated property located on the golden shores of Jimbaran Bay, overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali. Jimbaran Bay is well known for its safe swimming, fabulous grilled seafood restaurants and its stunning sunsets.

The Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay has 147 traditional Balinese style spacious villas. The freestanding thatched pavilions are built around a lush private courtyard garden with an infinity edge plunge pool which appears to hang off the cliff side. All villas have a wonderful open air living space, spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers and hand crafted teak furniture, exotic fabrics and antique artefacts adorning the rooms.

The resort offers a variety of excellent restaurants and bars serving fresh seafood, Indonesian and European specialities, or you may choose to have an old fashioned picnic prepared for you or dine by candlelight in the privacy of your own villa. Alternatively, stroll a few minutes along the beach to one of the many local seafood restaurants for an authentic experience.

Eight luxurious treatment rooms make up The Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay's spa and here you can be indulged with traditional treatments incorporating essences of plants, flowers, herbs and spices before relaxing on the outside terrace of the juice bar to enjoy a fresh juice or herbal elixir.

Guests at the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay can choose to sample the hotel's water sports, fully equipped gym, play tennis or take an Indonesian cooking class at the hotel's well established cooking school. Children will love the fantastic children’s club where games and activities will immerse them into the Balinese culture.

Jimbaran Bay has distant views of Bali’s runway therefore occasional aircraft noise is possible.

When to travel

Straddling the equator, Indonesia tends to have a fairly even climate year-round. Rather than four seasons, Indonesia has two – dry (between May to September) and wet (between October to April) – and there are no extremes of temperature between winter and summer. In most parts of Indonesia, the wet season falls between October and April and the dry season between May and September. December and January see Bali at its most humid and rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours, but it can also rain for more prolonged periods.
