This is the place to reconnect with nature and get away from the real world. Guests can't help but unwind here with a plethora of activities on offer to sooth yet stimulate the mind and body.
From May to mid July the resort concentrates on offering wellness, wilderness and helicopter adventure stays. Perfect for the whole family, the helicopter adventures bring you in touch with glaciers, mountain tops, forgotten beaches, remote islands, waterfalls and pristine lakes.
Whilst currently being built is a brand new floating yoga studio, spa and fitness room, these new facilities will hold the space to recharge, retreat, relax and renew.
From mid July to the end of October, the main focus for the resort is fishing, with fly fishing and fishing heli adventures coming to the fore. Whether you are an accomplished fisher or just starting out, the experienced guides will fly you to over 50 isolated rivers and streams with ease, allowing you to always be where the fish are. Your helicopter stays with you all day to make this possible. Nimmo Bay has a catch and release policy for all fresh water fishing
Even at this time, Nimmo Bay isn't just about the fishing. With so many more activities on offer, even if fishing is not your thing, there are plenty of wonderful activities on offer.
Kayak or paddle board out to look for eagles, bears or seals. Take a helicopter trip onto the glacier for a picnic lunch, hike the beautiful Nimmo Bay trail along the coastline or snorkel in the shallows.
In the evenings, linger over wonderful fresh local cuisine prepared by the skilled chef and team. Enjoy fine BC wines, a liqueur or cocktail then talk of adventures before retiring for a well earned sleep. Or perhaps head out to sit around the fire pit wrapped in cosy blankets and looking up to the star filled sky.
Although it is possible to escape to Nimmo Bay just for a day or two, to fully appreciate the wonder and special nature of a stay here we recommend an absolute minimum of 3 nights stay.
