Maia Luxury Resort & Spa is located on an untouched beach in the secluded cove of Anse Louis on the south west coast of Mahe. There are 30 villas, each with their own pool, situated along the beachfront or on the hillside, offering 180-degree sea views which can be enjoyed from the oversized daybed or bath for two in the outdoor gazebo.
Cuisine at MAIA is selected to offer the freshest and most delicious meals from the finest ingredients. Savour gourmet meals at Tec Tec Restaurant serving Creole and Franco-Asian cuisine, signature cocktails and snacks at the Pool Bar or in the privacy of the villa or at a private table on the beach.
The Boutique Spa has been designed as a haven for relaxation with a number of treatments dedicated to the rejuvenation and restoration of the body, mind and soul and there is a meditation pavilion offering yoga and pilates classes.
Maia is child-friendly and family-friendly. The children are entertained with a diverse range of 'Very Important Kids' (VIK) activities and menus that suit their tastes.
For younger children there's sand castle building, accompanied swimming lessons with toys and snorkelling in the pool, as well as painting and colouring sessions. For teenagers, activities can include treasure hunts, group canoe trips, volley-ball and movies. Upon request, an activity programme can be personalised for children by arrangement with Maia's Recreational Team – and at any time during the personal butler will care for and entertain the children too.

8 Signature Villas (2 on ocean front level and 6 on panoramic level), 8 Oceanfront Villas, 11 Ocean Panoramic Villas and 3 Ocean View Villas. All the Villa retreats are in stunning settings each with their own unique views and featuring a luxurious bedroom opening onto a private terrace with infinity pool, outdoor gazebo with thatched roof, oversized day bed and adjacent bar. Bathrooms have an outdoor bath for bathing under the stars, indoor shower, dual vanity and exquisite La Prairie amenities.
Childcare
Children are most welcome as Maia is child-friendly and family-friendly. Children are kept entertained with a diverse range of 'Very Important Kids' (VIK) activities and menus that suit their tastes. for example children’s activities include: sand castle building, swimming, accompanied snorkeling in the pool , card games colouring and painting sessions including coconut painting, treasure hunts, group canoe trips for teenagers, football, volleyball and movie time with popcorn. Each butler will ensure that the children's needs are catered for as well at the parents and babysitting can easily be arranged on request.
