About me

After 10 ski seasons, 5 of which I established and ran my own chalet company and 6 summer seasons working overseas in France, Italy, Greece and New Zealand, I decided it was about time that I returned to the UK to make an honest living...and find a husband!

I worked for a well known sailing company for a number of years and was able to gain my Day Skipper certificate; however, that wasn't where my true interests laid and so I am now very lucky to be working for Scott Dunn in the Ski & Med Team. My absolute passion is skiing and snowboarding and so I feel I have found my ideal job in that I can talk all day about this industry and visit the fantastic properties we have in some of the world's top ski resorts.

Favourite places I’ve been

Whistler, Canada - epic powder days!
Vallee Blanche, Chamonix, France - I skiied this off piste glacier route under a full moon, no head torches needed, just ropes and harnesses!
Treble Cone, New Zealand - amazing views over Wanaka and the opportunity to ski in our summer time!
Koh Lanta, Thailand - the best and hottest Thai fish curry ever! Great snorkelling and diving too. Charter a long tail fishing boat for the day.
Dubrovnik, Croatia - gorgeous beaches, architecture, history and cuisine; not as commercialised as Greece/Turkey yet.
Morzine, France - The Alps in summer are awesome; downhill mountain biking, canyoning, walking, horse riding, swimming in the lakes...such a beautiful place. Try the local Savoyarde dish ‘Tartiflette’!
Whitsundays, Australia - sailing around the islands, waking to turtles and dolphins swimming around the boat...just amazing! The sand is so white and so fine it squeaks like icing sugar underfoot!

Travel nuggets

01. The first Olympic Winter Games were held in 1924, at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Chamonix, France.

02. Don’t forget your driver’s license - hire a car/moped to see the sights and get off the beaten track.

03. In the age of digital photography you can never take too many photos; they are the best memento of a holiday or once in a lifetime trip. Invest in a good camera and don't forget your battery charger!

My hot picks

Eagle's Nest, Val d'Isere - 2 minutes from La Face (men's downhill run). With an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room along with a brand new hot tub on the balcony and awesome views, this is arguably one of the best chalets in The Alps.

Hotel Blizzard, Val d'Isere - lots of cosy corners to enjoy a well earned vin chaud or biere! Excellent location and amazing mountain views to wake up to.

Quinta do Maranhao, Algarve, Portugal - stunning views over the sea, walking distance from the beach, this airy villa has a great 'beachy' and relaxed feel to it. Al fresco dining in the warm summer air - this is the most relaxing place ever!
