Uzbekistan has an extreme continental climate with hot summers, cool winters and relatively low levels of rainfall. During the summer temperatures may reach as high as 45°C, whereas during the winter it can plummet down to zero. As such, Uzbekistan is good to visit between the more temperate months between October and April.

  1. Fly into Tashkent

  2. Days 1-2: Tashkent

    Uncover the highlights of Uzbekistan’s capital, including the Khast Imam Square, Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, Alisher Navoi Theatre Square, and the Museum of Applied Arts.

    Accommodation: Hyatt Regency Tashkent (1 night)

  3. Fly into Khiva

  4. Days 2-4: Khiva

    Step into the 8th century as you explore the madrassas, minarets and monuments of Khiva. Wander through the stone-paved alleys and curve your ways into Tash-Khauli Palace and the Kunya-Ark Fortress!

    Accommodation: Orient Star Khiva (2 nights)

  5. Days 4-7: Bukhara

    Spend 3 nights in Bukhara, the stunning museum city with over 140 monuments from the Middle Ages. Discover beautiful mosques, mausoleums and local bazaars.

    On your final day, you will en route to Shakrisabz, birthplace of Amir Temur empire with historic mausoleums, mosques and the famed Ak-Sarai Palace.
