Housed within a madrasah, The Orient Star Khiva caters well to those seeking the local experience. The hotel is well-furnished and decorated to retain the primary objective of comfort whilst its central location allows easy exploration of the city.
The rooms, albeit compact due to their previous purpose of housing students, is functional and comfortable. Decorated with local colours and art, the main amenities of a hotel room remain: a flat-screen TV with international channel selections, the cosy bed and other furniture, a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries and a bath.
The hotel has a garden for a nice little stroll. A kitchen is available for all guests to partake in their meal or whip something up with local ingredients.
