Teton Mountain Bike Tours
The following tours are considered easy to moderate and family friendly:
Antelope Flats Tour - This ride travels along the sagebrush flats on the eastern slopes of Grand Teton National Park. You may well see roaming antelope along the way and as the name suggests, the ride is relatively flat, making this our easiest tour. This tour offers beautiful views of the entire Teton range and its relaxed pace makes it ideal for families. 4 hours total time with 2 hours riding. Departs morning and afternoon.
Jenny Lake Tour - This uses the "Paved Pathway" in Grand Teton National Park. Ride directly beneath the stunning peaks of the Teton Mountain Range through wide open sagebrush plains with bordering lodge pole pine & aspen forests. This is easy paved pathway, around 10 miles and is out and back with relatively flat riding making it an ideal scenic ride for families. 4 hours total time with 2 hours riding.
Teton View Tour - This mountain bike tour is longer and follows along the eastern border of Grand Teton National Park through the open sagebrush plains with stunning views of the Teton Range. The ride combines both paved and dirt roads and is a little off the beaten track with moderate terrain making it an ideal more exciting full day riding experience. 6 hours total time with 4 hours riding.
Buffalo Valley Tour - This mountain bike ride begins in the mountain pine forest of the Angle Mountain area with a slow descent through pretty alpine meadows to the Buffalo River Valley. The tour starts on a quieter service road and continues onto a scenic country road with some single track cycling. A little more challenging but still an outstanding family experience. 6 hours total time with 4 hours riding.
