Hill tribe Trek from Sapa, My Son Section

Today's experience starts with an early morning drive with your guide southwest from Sapa, which offers the most spectacular views of the Hoang Lien mountain range. You'll stop at Su Pan Commune, a small hamlet home to the Black Hmong ethnic minority. The Black Hmong originated from China approximately 300 years ago and are often very ornately dressed; they are incredibly spiritual people and women are famous for making cloth from hemp and dying it a deep indigo blue. Your drive will continue south to Muong Bo valley and it's here you'll start your walk along village paths, breaking for lunch en route. After lunch take a trip to My Son to visit the Xa Pho ethnic group, said to have originated in Indonesia or Malaysia. Notice how different their clothes are to other ethnic groups in the area. This wonderful experience continues to Nam Cang to meet with the unique Red Zao people before enjoying the scenery of the Man Sai Valley. The experience finishes mid-afternoon, when you'll return to your hotel.
