During your tour, you will visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite, and where the preserved body of 'Uncle Ho' resides. You will also visit Ho Chi Minh's House. This simple house, located in a tranquil setting, was the home of Ho Chi Minh between 1958 and 1960. Ho Chi Minh’s belongings are on display and you can walk up the steps of his house to see his bedroom.

Wind your way to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first national university. Built towards the end of the 11th Century, this pretty temple is a lovely example of traditional Vietnamese architecture.

Back in the center of Hanoi, journey around Hoan Kiem Lake. The lake, named after a magical sword used to defeat the Chinese Ming Dynasty, is a popular meeting spot for locals, and great place for people watching.

Venture into the city's Old Quarter, often referred to as '36 streets of 36 wares' due to the 36 original artisan guilds, which can be traced back to the 13th Century. This winding labyrinth of streets is bursting with character, filled with quirky houses, shops and cafes.
