Weather wise fall and spring are the best times to visit New York and Kiawah Island. This makes for a great Easter or May Half Term itinerary. From April to June and September to November, temperatures are mild and pleasant. Summers can be hot and humid but this is a great time to go if you want to experience turtle nesting and hatching season.

Spend your days exploring by foot or by bicycle and experience the wonders of the Big Apple. We have included a Manhattan bike tour for you to really get a good introduction into the hightlights of the city with stops at foodie favorites along the way.  From Brooklyn Bridge to the Upper East Side, visitors will revel in the sheer diversity of this fascinating city. Helping you every step of the way, we understand city breaks can often be overwhelming, so we'll help you plan your getaway down to a T, recommending the best restaurants and the best activities suited to you. Couples will love heading up the Rockefeller Center to watch the sunset over the Empire State Building, and families will delight in watching a show on Broadway and perhaps getting a backstage pass to meet the cast.

  2. Days 4-11: Kiawah Island

    After a few days exploring the bright lights of NYC, you'll head down to the picturesque Kiawah Island for a week of adventure and relaxation. The island is a haven for wildlife and a natural paradise for outdoor lovers. You'll be enjoying the exclusivity of a stunning private home overlooking the lush landscape of the island for the week, as well as having the ability to make full use of the hotel's wonderful amenities and facilities.

    The resort is fantastic for families with a wealth of activities for all abilities so kids will never be bored. Kiawah is a barrier island, making for perfect waters to kayak, paddle board or explore on a motorboat.  We have included a tandem kayaking trip for you to explore Kiawah Island's nature reserve in all its glory.  Surrounded by salt marshes, the scenery really is picture postcard and wildlife can be found in its abundance. Spot roaming deer, snowy egrets flying overhead, dolphins playing in the water or alligators basking on the banks of ponds. There truly is no better place to discover South Carolina's vast eco-system and incredible nature habitats, all whilst enjoying outdoor activities that all the family can enjoy.
