Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

Florida is a year-round destination with balmy winters, but summers can be hot and humid. The best time to visit Florida is between March and May and in December when it is warm and sunny, before the weather begins to get too hot. Hurricanes and other less serious tropical storms can strike Florida any time in the summer up to the end of November, however the risk is greatest between August and October.

Weather on the South Carolina coast is beautiful during the spring. The mild temperature makes it pleasant for beach-combing, playing golf or exploring by bicycle. July and August are hot and humid and the winter months are cooler yet still mild. The perfect time to go tends to involve the weather and what activities you wish to do on your vacation.

Exploring the parks of Orlando can be exhausting, but we have put together the ultimate itinerary to ensure you do Disney the best way we know how. Hit the beach in Miami, enjoy the thrill of Orlando and relax on the calm waters of Palmetto Bluff.

  1. Days 1-4: Miami

Spend three nights in the bustling city of Miami and enjoy some well-earned beach time on the famous South Beach. This first stop will be an opportunity for all the family to unwind and enter vacation mode, with a private tour of Everglades National Park, a wetland wildlife paradise where your little ones can spot American crocodiles, endangered manatees and colorful birds.

Accommodation: Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club (3 nights)

  2. Days 4-10: Orlando

Once you've had time to adjust to the time difference and you're ready for an adventure, head to Orlando, a place for kids (and adults) to run wild. Dine with Mickey, dress up at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique and be inspired by the glitz and glamour of the daily night time shows. You'll be resting your head at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World, an incredible resort with five star service that offers the perfect retreat from the excitement of the parks, whilst being in the midst of the action.

Accommodation: Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort (6 nights)

  3. Days 10-15: Bluffton

After six nights in Orlando, it's time to head to the exclusive Montage Palmetto Bluff, a well-refined and elegant yet family friendly resort in the heart of South Carolina. With five nights here, families can truly relax and unwind after a few days spent in the parks. Kids will have the opportunity to spot elusive wildlife such as alligators and rare birds as well as more playful animals such as Atlantic bottle-nosed dolphins.  We have included a dolphin Eco Tour for you to get out on the water on a boat and spot dolphins, rare birds and manatees.  There are plenty of activities here to keep all ages entertained, from fishing to bowling and horse-riding to shooting at the Palmetto Shooting Club. Complimentary bicycles are a great way to get around the resort, and with treehouses for children to play in dotted around the resort, Montage Palmetto Bluff is truly a wonderful place to end your southern adventure.
