Self-Guided Hiking Goblin Valley State Park
Exposed cliffs reveal parallel layers of rock bared by erosion. Due to the uneven hardness of sandstone, some patches resist erosion much better than others. The softer material is removed by wind and water, leaving thousands of unique, geologic “goblins”.
A fee of $15 is required for entry and you can take a self-guided free-form hike.
