Start the day 250 m above the city at the controversial Mt. Soledad Cross. Firstly hear about the history of this historic site and appreciate the views of the city backdrop. Cycle your way down and alongside San Diego's beachfront communities, including Bird Rock, Windansea Beach, Lower Hermosa and the village's popular cove. Your guide will explain some of the important landmarks and history that you encounter along the way. There will be plenty of photographic opportunities, and a chance to admire the beautiful oceanfront homes perched on the cliffs where the Pacific crashes dramatically into the sandstone cliffside.

After lunch at the activity center you will get to paddle alongside San Diego's marine life, including comical sea lions, docile leopard sharks and even playful dolphin pods! Your guide will be on hand to explain the unique geology and other natural features while safely escorting you through the sea caves if the tides allow.
