Joshua Tree National Park Jeep Tour

Experience Joshua Tree National Park as part of an exhilarating Jeep tour, in the comfort of a climate controlled vehicle (van or SUV). Tour Length is 5-6 Hours from the Greater Palm Springs area.

This amazing excursion provides an in-depth overview of the diverse history of the area and the formation of the Joshua Tree National Park. Guests joining from the Greater Palm Springs area will enjoy a narrated tour of the Coachella Valley and learn about the wind and solar energy generated from the San Gorgonio Pass Wind and Solar Farms on the way to the Park. Guests may also join the tour at the Park’s west entrance Visitors' Center. Both options include a delicious picnic lunch.

Inside the park, you will learn about the plants and animals of the high desert and witness incredible geological forces at work as you visit amazing rock formations and other points of interest. Enjoy a short guided hike to the Desert Queen Mine, one of many gold mines located within the Park and venture off the paved road as you make your way to Barker Dam, a gathering place for wildlife, including many species of birds as well as Bighorn Sheep.

Hike the Hidden Valley loop, which features a jaw-dropping photographic wonderland of majestic rock formations. Then take in the amazing view at the spectacular Key's View Overlook, which offers a stunning viewpoint from 5,185 ft. in elevation, allowing you to see all the way into Mexico on a clear day.
