Jackson Hole has five distinct seasons: summer (usually June to August), fall (September through October), off-season (November), winter (December through March) and off-season (April and May). In the summer and fall, downtown Jackson Hole is bustling, and it’s easy to drive the 20 minutes to Grand Teton National Park or Teton Village. Each September, Jackson hosts a two-week Fall Arts Festival. It's a great time to stay as Jackson Hole has a great energy those two weeks. In the winter, the entire valley quietens down a bit. While some skiers prefer to stay 15 minutes away in Teton Village, others like staying in Jackson and driving out to Teton Village to ski. Another reason to stay in Jackson Hole is the choice of restaurants, bars and shops is bigger in Jackson than in Teton Village.

Hotel Jackson is ideally situated in the town center within walking distance to the array of restaurants, wildlife galleries and boutique shops. We were particularly impressed with the rooftop hot tub which was surprisingly pleasant even when it was - 6 celcius outside! After soothing aching muscles from a day exploring Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park, the glowing fireplaces (which are central to the stylish and cosy rooms) offer the perfect setting to unwind. Furthermore the contemporary bathrooms are laden with luxury L'Occitane goodies. Hotel Jackson combines neutral tones with contemporary Western influence, making for one of the most stylish boutique hotels in Jackson Hole.

On walking in to Hotel Jackson I was struck by how different this offering is in this quaint western town. The entrance, made up of dark brown woods and muted greys, is incredibly modern but still retains a charming western feel.
What really stands out about this hotel is the attention to detail and the quality of all the luxuries that make for an ultimately comforting stay. Each room has had soundproofing installed which is probably a good thing as they have Geneva sound systems which are easy to connect up to your own iPhone or iPod. A unique feature is also the oxygenated air which they pump into each room so weary travelers can acclimatise themselves. Large soaking tubs and L'Occitane amenities also allow you to soothe those aching muscles after an adventurous day hiking, rafting or biking.
This hotel is perfect for couple and families with older children who are in search of that modern stay in an otherwise traditional town.
