Lying just 70km north of the Thai capital Bangkok, Ayutthaya is often overlooked by tourists. Full of old crumbling temples this is a wonderful experience uncovering hidden Thailand and a little more off the regular tourist trail.
Accompanied by your private guide, explore the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya, which was the capital of Siam (the historic name for Thailand) from 1350 until 1767. The ancient city is now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour you will travel by car, tuk tuk, longtail boat and on foot, venturing through the impressive temple complexes.
Enjoy lunch on a traditional rice barge which has been converted into a restaurant. Your will cruise along the canals surrounding the ancient city for approximately 90-minutes.
