Away from the city you’ll find calm oases and even the rocky desert within an hour’s drive should you wish to add a little adventure to your trip with a quad bike or camel ride. Of course, you may wish to simply relax at your hotel, perhaps indulging in some local cuisine or visiting the spa.

Days 5-8: Atlas Mountains
After from the buzz of Marrakech, your next stop is the Atlas Mountains, where deep river valleys reach to high peaks offering a calmer, more remote experience to your itinerary. While here, mountain bike through the dramatic scenery, explore the local Berber villages, or set out on foot towards the snow-clad peaks, passing by locals transporting produce by mule down to the local villages to take to market. The cooler temperatures and wide expanses are extremely welcoming after the hustle and bustle of the city offering an enticing combination.
