A magical and easy-paced adventure for families or couples that will introduce you to the highlights of Brazil, including its incredible diversity of wildlife in the Pantanal, the famous sites of Rio de Janeiro and the longest stretch of beach in Trancoso.
Begin in Rio de Janeiro, spending three nights at the Sofitel Ipanema, right on the famous Ipanema Beach and a great base for seeing the iconic sights such as the famed Corcovado and Sugarloaf Mountain. A city tour has been included so you can experience the highlights of this spectacular city with a private guide.
From Rio, fly to Campo Grande in western Brazil and transfer straight into the heart of the Pantanal to stay at Caiman Ecological refuge, famed for its conservation of the local jaguar population. This magnificent series of seasonally flooded wetlands plays host to the most diverse wildlife in the Americas. Expert guides will take you out each day by road or on foot to go looking for giant anteaters, monkeys, macaws, armadillos, tapirs and a jaguar among the grasslands, forests, rivers and lagoons of this endlessly fascinating region.
Fly to Brasilia and overnight at the comfortable Royal Tulip to break up the journey to Brazil's coast.
Finally, fly to Porto Seguro and head straight for Trancoso, a charming hippie chic beach town which is home to some fantastic stretches of sand, Ibiza style lounges and beautiful beaches. Here you can simply relax on the beaches or by the pool, or alternatively try some surfing lessons or an ATV adventure along the sand. Your time here is completely flexible so you can do as much or as little as you like.
