San Clemente Palace is a stunning Venetian retreat across the blue Lagoon and St Mark's basin from Piazza San Marco. It is the perfect place for adults and families alike, particularly during the summer months, for those looking for some relaxation and culture.
The hotel occupies the whole island and offers tennis, a big swimming pool as well as huge garden space in which to enjoy some peace and quiet. There is also a small playground for children, a pitch & putt course, a small gym, and the hotel can happily arrange spa treatments.
The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully designed in a contemporary classic style; high ceilings, neutral color palette, a touch of Venetian print and lots of light through big windows with views of the gardens or the lagoon. The marble bathrooms are well appointed and most have separate bath and shower.
There are several bars and restaurants at San Clemente Palace, both formal and informal, indoor and out, Italian and international so plenty to whet your appetite and to offer variety for longer stays!
The rooms at San Clemente Palace are all light, bright and airy, tastefully decorated with elegant touches throughout, such as the Italian marble bathtubs. These spacious rooms and suites all have state-of-the-art technology such as LCD flat screen televisions which complement the sophistication of the décor.
The Superior Rooms measure between 33-35 sqm with fantastic views over the beautiful gardens or the park. These rooms feature a queen bed along with all amenities.
Deluxe Rooms are stylish and sophisticated, and a little more spacious at 36-42 sqm. The Venetian influence is obvious in the style of these rooms, from the high ceilings to the Murano chandeliers.

The Grand Deluxe Rooms feature a king bed, and offer beautiful garden views. These rooms measure between 42-60 sqm, and are magnificently decorated with elegant Murano chandeliers and historical Terrazzo floors.
Grand Deluxe Rooms are also available with stunning views across the lagoon for guests looking for a truly romantic experience.
The Venice Suite measure 80 sqm and features a large bedroom with a king size bed and a separate living area; both with lovely garden views. The bathroom has both a bathtub and separate shower.
From mid-May to mid-September, the hotel provides a supervised playroom. Activities include necklace and bag making, painting and crafts, balloon games, traditional Venetian mask making, picnics in the gardens or a pastry lesson with the chef.
Children's pool, special children's Welcome Kit, a variety of children’s DVDs, sleepers and bathrobes, disposable bottles, cribs and high chairs, professional babysitting service upon request.
The hotel runs a boat shuttle for guests between the hotel and Piazza San Marco until around midnight each day.
There are 3 bars at San Clemente Palace; Clemente Bar next to Acquerello Restaurant indoor, is very stylish, serving cocktails and Champagne; Garden Bar is on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon; and La Dolce Bar which is next to the pool and very relaxed.
There are 3 restaurants as well; Acquerello Restaurant is the fine dining restaurant serving contemporary Venetian cuisine and when the sun is shining the tables spill out onto the terrace overlooking the lagoon; Insieme restaurant is open for breakfast and serves an impressive buffet and a la carte; and there is La Dolce poolside restaurant, open during the day for antipasti and food from the grill.

The tranquil setting of the hotel combines easy access to the sights just a short complimentary boat ride away from St Mark's Square.
