The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year with the risk of the odd shower of rain and some cooler periods over the winter. From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May to October are particularly pleasurable months.

The King George is a fantastic alternative to the Grand Bretagne next door for younger couples who prefer more contemporary design, without losing the luxury that comes with a 5 star hotel. The service is still impeccable and even more personalized as there are less rooms, the Tudor Hall restaurant has magnificent views of the Acropolis and serves delicious food from an interesting and creative menu and the rooms are stunning.
