The luxurious Algodon Mansion is a jewel in the heart of Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhood, Recoleta, known for its broad tree-lined avenues, fashionable boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and beautiful Belle Epoque architecture.
Algodon Mansion is a wonderful boutique hotel in Buenos Aires' exclusive Recoleta neighborhood. The hotel’s 1912 French classical landmark building has been impeccably restored and re-imagined with stylish contemporary elegance. The 10 sophisticated suites feature high end furnishings and rich fabrics offering superior amenities and ensuring comfort.
The restaurant reinterprets traditional regional dishes, taking Argentine gastronomy to a new level. Wines are sourced from the hotel’s sister property in Mendoza’s wine country, and as a member of Relais & Chateaux hotel you can surely expect exemplary service. This intimate hotel will make you feel like a well-to-do local that has found a hidden gem.
On the rooftop, teak decking and loungers surround a swimming pool, perfect for summertime tanning, with a small bar for afternoon cocktails. A sleek library lounge offers a chic ambiance and the recently added private wine tasting room attracts a sophisticated crowd. Luxurious touches include Lapacho floors, original works of art, L'Occitane bath products and a 24-hour Butler service for every suite.
The Mansion can also be booked out exclusively. This is a perfect choice for the more independent traveler.

Theres nowhere else like it in the city. Its everything you want from a bigger hotel, but super-discreet. And its hard not to coo over the decor. New York-based Scott Mathis emptied his wallet building this citys first five-star boutique hotel. The rooms creak under the weight of Slovenian oak flooring, carved belle poque plasterwork, silk curtains and ebony club chairs. And the bathrooms, with their 80-jet showers and tubs with underwater speakers! Its all set in a French classical villa in embassy-studded Recoleta, so theres plenty of oyster-and-caviar restaurants to hand. Trained to please visiting power brokers and local gentry, the staff can be a bit stuffy, but its hard to beat having your own butler and dipping into the teak-decked rooftop plunge pool. This is a masculine hangout with full red-blooded punch.
