Toboggan down France's longest run - Scott Dunn Suggests

This is an absolute must for adults and children when you're staying in Val Thorens. No booking is needed, and sledges and helmets are provided. During the day, the run is open between 10am and 3pm, and you can have an evening descent between 5pm and 6pm, (5.30 - 6.30 from February) with some Savoyard treats and a glass of mulled wine at the bottom. You can buy your tickets from the "Chalet du Toboggan" on the slopes, but you can also book in advance at the Funitel lift pass office on the same day as the descent. Children between the ages of 5 and 10 accompanied by a parent go free (on the sledge of an adult). From 10 years old or over (minimum height of 1.25m), children can get their own sledge.

1 descent with a valid ski pass: EUR 13.60

1 descent without a valid ski pass: EUR 20.40

2 descents with a valid ski pass: EUR 21.50

2 descents without a valid ski pass: EUR 32.50
