Today you will head to Why House, a beautiful colonial boutique hotel in the small coastal town of Talpe, near Galle. Renowned for its food, the property also boasts a beautiful setting.
Here in the property's gardens, the head chef will share his secrets for making the perfect hopper. Crispy round the edges and soft on the bottom, these bowl-shaped pancakes are cooked over an open flame. A breakfast favorite, sometimes you'll find them with an egg cracked into the center. After trying your hand at making them yourself, fill with plenty of flavors and tuck in. This is a fun experience for all to get stuck in.
