Diving in an area of deserted pristine white beaches, with dolphins, whales and sharks, in warm turquoise seas, a place for truly world-class diving.
Benguerra is a paradise for both experienced and novice snorkellers and scuba divers. A fully equipped dive center with dive instructor has been set up to allow guests to enjoy the pristine reefs. The fertile waters around the Bazaruto Archipelago are home to an abundance of life that allow for superb diving and snorkeling as well as some of the best salt water fly-fishing and deep-sea fishing in the world. You will see shoals of dolphin feeding off the endless supply of fish and possibly even a rare dugong or humpback whales migrating along the Mozambique Channel between the mainland and Madagascar.
This incredible archipelago is a National Marine Park and the reefs here are exceptionally healthy and the sea life not only vast but also reassuringly approachable. One of the main attractions for divers is the shallow water on the inside of 'Two Miles Reef', arguably the best snorkeling spot along the coast of Mozambique, and for the more experienced divers there is also Cabo San Sebastian which can only be found using GPS and is home to such huge quantities of fish that you will see them all before leaving the boat.
