Off-the-Beaten Honghe Rice Terraces

For those looking to escape the crowd from the standard Yuanyang tourist circuit, we bring you across some of the often overlooked rice fields and minority villages.

Two of the lesser-known terraces which we will visit are Baohua, Jiayin and Samaba which is located adjacent to Suhong Village. Afterwards, we also visit the stone building of East Gate in town which has a combination of Chinese and Western architectures.
