We will visit Terracotta Art Studio for a workshop in pottery and ceramics techniques. A craftsman will demonstrate and explain the potter's wheel work, narrate about Armenian traditions and techniques in clay and pottery.
As one of the country's oldest traditions, Armenians have been turning clays into various forms sine as early as the third millennium BCE. Large vessels were made to store water, wine and food. Pottery continues to be a wide practice today with cultural motifs of early Armenians.
