I have always wanted to explore as many places as possible and love to travel off the beaten track. Growing up I was lucky enough to travel through Europe, spending time in Prague, Budapest, Italy, Greece and France to name a few.

I have always wanted to immerse myself in the life and culture of the areas I find myself in and have been lucky enough to work in New Zealand and Wyoming. For me the most wonderful part of traveling is seeing all the wonders the world has to offer and no matter how many places you see, there is always more to explore!

Travel nuggets

  • Head to Venice in February for the Carnival. All the locals dress in traditional masks and ornate costumes. It is one of those spectacularly authentic travel memories.

  • Take the cable car above Dubrovnik Old Town at sunset for some spectacular views over the Adriatic.

  • If exploring beaches is your thing, head to Elafonisi Beach in Crete and see the beautifully blue waters wash over the pink tinged sand.

My hot picks

Kensho, Ornos, Mykonos

A relaxed and luxurious retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Mykonos. The hotel itself has a trendy, boutique vibe and is the perfect bolthole for exploring the island.

Monastero Santa Rosa, Conca dei Marini, Amalfi Coast

This 17th century monastery is the perfect place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. The converted monastery is steeped in history yet it achieves a modern, boutique feel with only 20 rooms. The views from the hotel boasts one of the best views of the Amalfi.
