Charlotte Carter

London Office

When it comes to my all-time favorite vacation, it’s the mountains every time. Whether that’s skiing in the winter or hiking and biking in the summer. I always try to make time for the mountains at least a couple of times a year. I love to be active on my vacations, I’m a keen skier, sailor and I like to play tennis, swim, hike and bike too.

As an avid traveler, I love the excitement of new experiences. I spent a couple of years living in New England in the States and in more recent years I have spent my vacations sailing in the Caribbean, exploring Croatia, wine tasting in Tuscany and being a culture vulture and foodie in Florence. Like many of us who work in an office environment, when I’m on vacation it’s important for me to get outside, be active and reenergise.

I have a weakness for luxury on vacation and as one of our guests you will know it is terribly easy to become accustomed to! I appreciate that luxury doesn’t just mean the property, facilities and service when you are on vacation but the whole experience, from booking your vacation, throughout until you are home. I am really proud that here at Scott Dunn we do that well and are experts in taking the stress out of your vacation.

My hot picks

Cervo Mountain Resort, Zermatt, Switzerland

With stunning views of the Matterhorn, the Cervo Mountain Resort is fantastic for romantic getaways. Its ski in location is superb. As well, it is only a short walk to the Sunnegga lift. The hotel's Cervo Puro Restaurant is a must whilst in Zermatt.

Les Barmes de l’Ours, Val d`Isère, France

Set in a prime slopeside location in Val d'Isere, Les Barmes de L'Ours is a great option for families and friends alike. The wellness area and spa is incredible and the two lane bowling alley is not to be missed!

Rosa Alpina, Dolomites, Italy

Rosa Alpina is the jewel of the Dolomites. Understated luxury and seriously good service throughout. Here, the team go the extra mile. The ski concierge is very well received, with skis and snowboards laid out on the slopes ready for the guest!
